The top and bottom of the membrane sheets are sealed with mastic. Our
drainboard, which has proven superior performance in regards to waterflow rate, comprehensive strength and long term performance, is then applied over the membrane.
A high-flow strip base drain, Aquadrain
, is placed along the footing allowing water to flow out the drain and into discharge pipes (this drainage system eliminates the need for a
French drain but both systems can be used simultaneously).
